You all know what the first chapter of digital technology looked like. It looked like big SaaS companies — Salesforce, Adobe. It was attention economy products — Snapchat, Facebook.
That era is over.
Now we're in the second chapter of digital technology: one in which AI is rewriting business models, one in which geopolitics is a consideration in technology, and one in which no geographic region has a monopoly on innovation.
And yet, entrepreneurial Europeans are not recognized. Not because they aren't doing the work; the region has 325k AI workers, the same number as the US, and double the LLM users.
This is an opportunity for Europe to build category-defining tech companies, and for existing European companies to define how we harness tech.
We're building the media
for this second chapter.
